phishy
omg. Didn't think it could happen and I would only read it in the papers.
The story where people ring you up saying you have won a mobile phone and want to get your credit card details or some crap like that. I just got one of those calls.

Hi this is Ryan from Telecom Australia". *flash bulb goess off* hmm thinking to myself - there is no such thing as Telecom Australia anymore, and the lag and background crackle on the phone tells me you're calling from overseas
Me: Sorry, who are you?
Ryan from Telecom Australia and you are eligible for a free mobile phone. Are you a mobile phone user?
Me: Er sorry nope not interested. see you.

Right. Guess removing my details from the phone directory didn't stop them getting my number. Maybe I should've stayed on the line and led him on. THen again, he would've known where I lived. Eeek.

err what the?!
Staying at home on a Friday night (which is a rare thing these days) and watching the final performance of American Idol, still underway. Fantasia just did her first performance of K-Ci and Jojo's All My Life. Now this song is probably one of my all time favourite songs and the rendition she did of it.. well... what can i say. I agree with Simon. Turning it into gospel like and not as much of a singing performance may (or not) hurt her, which I highly doubt due to both the finalist's fans. But yeh. I dont think she did as good a performance as she could've. Gimme the Hailey brothers anyday.

Time to see how the rest goes....

Enough is enough is enough I can't go ooooon.

blogscapades
This is probably why I don't blog at work. Although it never gets as exciting as that.

I'm only getting paid slightly higher than what she gets and if the people I know on that kinda salary did that, boy would that be good to blog about (if I even knew about it...).

See the archived blog posts here. The new blog here. And people wonder why the original blog site disappeared...

Yes, I am bored at work. Just another day at the office, having my lunch and reading the news.

Got Knife?
That's not a knife, THIS is a knife!

Not something you see everyday. More like out of a computer game. Hardcore.

(Yes, I got bored at work and email posted.)

count me out!
bah. the stupid sitemeter counter died. Well, technically speaking, the harddrive containing the statistics of visitors to this site died and they unsuccessfully tried to recover the data from the hard drive. So, I have lost all stats for the last howmanyever days of tracking it provides. Not a great loss, just my way of seein who I dont know visiting my site and where they come from, which is quite interesting to say the least.

Anyhoo, watched Van Helsing Friday night and that wasn't too bad. Underworld vs Van Helsing I think I prefer the former, even though it was in a dark setting throughout and British accents all the way (some how, that's a good thing right? hmmmm) although I didn't mind Beckinsale's Transylvanian accent in Van Helsing. damn. As a friend pointed out, she does look good in them corsets. Guess they know what to dress her in. heh. Both movies left room for a sequel, with Underworld already confirmed for a sequel or two.

Stupid Americans (Sorry you non-stupid ones)
LaToya London was voted out of American Idol - well received the least votes out of everyone else. Good one you guys! These shows are just becoming a farce most the times. and what's with Randy dawg i giva ya props aiiight w0rd dude Jackson. Does anyone take him seriously anymore.

Speaking of which, I hope Kayne Taylor and Miranda Murphy make it to the final 2 of Popstars Live. Otherwise.. that's just so wrong.

Mail-to-Blogger pOst!
Blogging via email. sweeeeet.

Labels:

bloggity blog.
Wow. Haven't used blogger for a long time (since my last post..) and there's been so many changes.

Doesn't seem all too bad. Blogger with its own comments system... so if enefagtation ever goes down then theres still blogger comments to use. Maybe I should start using one or the other, but I've got both running at the same time heh so take your pick.

Gonna have to try the new Mail-to-Blogger function now, whenever I'm bored at work I can just blog by email.. maybe have some even more boring posts from me. yay.

Also this new profile thing. I guess many other weblog systems have that already(livejournal et al) so it was only a matter of time. I've had my blog syndicated via Atom XML for a while (not that anyone would've known, nor many people use it) but its there for the sake of having it. Would be good if they supported RSS, but then again, I have no use for it either.

Work lately has been quite.... quiet and boring. I do actually have proper work to do but well, haven't gotten around to it as yet - which aint a good thing since I have to account for every hour of every day. 3 more days and I have reached the 5 month mark. Boy time flies by when you don't do much. Feels like I've been there for a long time.
