w00t watched X-Men 2 just before and it was prettay goodo .. few less action scenes than the first which had way more character introductions and all .. n this concentrating more on Wolverine's story and background .. my friend got upset since Cyclops was outta the movie since the start as he's a big Cyclops fan so he wasn't too happy hahe Someone correct me if I remember wrong .. but was the X plane (can't remember what it's called now) able to turn invisible in the comics? Or am I thinking of another comic strip hmmm... If it did .. it would've saved a lotta problems in the movie hehe The mazda rx-8 wif suicide doors.. nice car too, too bad they only had like 2 mins if at all of it but mmm nice and of course .. the ending would leave room for X3 as usual .. this could turn into a good franchise .. if only it doesnt take so long to produce a movie ...
To watch list Matrix Reloaded, X2, The Hulk, Matrix Revolutions only to go ... altho the Hulk seems to have so much CGI in it sorta spoils it but being an Ang Lee film wif Eric Bana as Bruce Banner it would be a quite interesting mix to see how it turns out mm

The British Ultra Loyalist League Serving Historical Interests Today ... Where do you want to go today? Has anyone seen a member of this league around? I'm sure one of you have each day .. although it's hard to figure out who is a member and who isn't .. you're probably a secret member of this league and noone even knows about it. Okay, I fess up .. I'm a secret member of this League .. but ssshhh don't tell anyone okay? :)

My draft examination timetable is out . .and it ain't looking good.
* Monday exam 6pm - 8:40pm
* Tuesday exam 6pm - 8:10pm
* Wednesday exam 6pm - 8:10pm
* Thursday exam 6pm - 8:10pm
arGH! All 4 subjects, all 4 exams in the very first week of exams. One thing good about it is that I get it over and done with quickly. Downside to that is I won't have time to prepare for it all. My exam study preparation is study for the last exam first and work my way back.. but with only 1 week of stuvac, and assignments due in stuvac and one assignment to hand in on the day of the exam .. it wont give me much time, and there aint time to start now with assignments due in 2,3,4 and 5 weeks time. I guess some will say that theres always time. . its a matter of how you manage it. . but I guess that's where I'm lacking at the moment. Time.
I was considering goin to Bic Runga in stuvac too hmm maybe not .. why does she always come during exam time.. gah

It's been a while since my last blog since I came back from Cairns .. but nothin much exciting happening anyhows. Friends graduations, riss' graduation, work .. uni .. assignments - 2 yet again due on Monday argh!
But o course I would only blog if there was something worth blogging about.
The Matrix. Went and saw Reloaded this arvo, even though I had assignments due Monday .. it was too tempting an offer when I got asked to go .. even tho was planning to watch it next week wif uni friends altho it probably wont eventuate since nothing was planned and everyone else had prior plans to watch it with other people lol so yes, I went and watched it even though uni work is more important (yeah right!). and did it rock my world. Not as much as the chic in the restaurant scene I don't think (watch the movie and you shall understand haehe :) Watching the movie leaves you wondering and asking more questions about the whole Matrix thing .. what the go is abuot Neo and The One. I shall write the spoilers in white so unless you highlight it you wont be able to read it :)
Is the beginning of the movie scene the same scene as the end, or is it all a dream that Neo has .. or is he dreaming back of his predecessors or something .. hmm he wont know the answer til he makes a Choice.. so I guess he made it in the end.
After their ship gets blown up .. how does Neo manage to control the machines outside the Matrix - when he aint plugged in? Is this in relation to him becoming one of them? As Agent Smith keeps referencing that he and Neo seem to bump into each other, that he might have some of him in Neo or something to that affect.... so in the machine world Neo is also able to use his powers - but to what avail .... what will happen to him *shock horror*
So do they only have less than 24 hours before mankind is destroyed? Will Revolutions be based on the last 24 hours .... is the whole thing a lie.. will he just wake up from a dream yet again? And how do the people he fight, die? If they're all programs wouldn't they just replicate or something like that. Neo, after all is just human.
Who is The Source? Source code from hell.

Did anyone else also think that when they did the slomo bullet time effect .. that Neo and Trinity and them seemed to be a bit CGI'd .. if they weren't which I think they weren't .. looked a bit shoddy but I think that was the whole effect of it all .. who knows .. but the action was pretty good .. til they start to fly and bullet time it and it goes slow for a while.. onyl good scene was between Neo and the Chinese dude protecting the Oracle ..

To Be Concluded..
Okay think I've spoilt and asked nuff questions to myself hehe and to whoever may have watched Reloaded or just read the above .. more notes to myself than to anything so I can come back in 5months time to remember what I was thinking about Reloaded when I go watch Revolutions :)
Maybe I shall watch it again next week hehe .. in a more comfy zone besides the 4th row from the front getting a neck strain .. and catch more of the action hmmm hehe

Back again. I decided it was time to update this entry cos I couldnt be bothered creating a new post so its just an update hehe
Sunny (as if!) tropical Queensland, well far north queensland in Cairns. Sun. Rain. Sun. Rain. Sun. Rain. you get my drift :) Surprisingly the first day we got there it was perfect weather .. too bad we got there late in the arvo so there wasnt much to do. We went to the Casino to kill some time.. Reef Hotel Casino it was, I didn't even know Cairns had one. But they got an International Airport there so I guess they must be pretty busy heh. First time I've ever played the pokies (yes we were that bored) and I won $14! woohoo. Only cos I doubled up when the bet was like 400credits. Mum called me a crazy stupid idiot or something along those lines for doing that heehee but honestly, I didn't even look at how much the bet was, I just hit double up ehaha Beginners luck? Maybe. hehe

Day2. Trip to Moores Reef. One of the Reefs of the Great Barrier Reef. Man was that a rough 2 hour ride. 25knot winds and after a big breakfast, stay well away. I managed to hold it in til near the end when one of the big waves hit the decks and it was outta there :c~~ I duno if it was just me, but the expectation of the Great Barrier Reef was something "great", but snorkelling the afternoon away it seemed like good ol' coral and tropical fish, nothing too exciting. Trying to help my mum snorkel was an effort and a half, she didn't dare venture away from the pontoon, she was having trouble trying to breathe using the snorkel, so she just sat there heahe

Day 3. The usual touristy sight seeing kinda thing. Went on the worlds longest gondola ride, the Skyrail, which goes for 7.4km. Nice tropical rainforest .. all these variety of flora and fauna, 500 year old pine tree, spiders, vines .. the lot. There was also a trip to the Wildlife Park, where there were koalas, kangaroos and crocs and whole lotta other wildlife. The guide mentioned that they have the worlds only suspected gay crocodile in captivity heehee. Over the years they've given him about a dozen or so female crocs to try and mate, and hes killed every one of them. Guess they just dont do it for him heehee. Take a look at it here, does it look gay to you? hehe :)

If you ever fly Virgin Blue, bring your own headsets. sif pay $2.50 for a Virgin Blue headset when using your own will work just as good hehe Luckily I brought my MD along so I could listen in. Although after an hour or so it repeats itself, so you know its time to change the channels. Also bring your own food n drinks. If you drink beer its gonna cost you $6!! even nuts cost $3 bux .. along wif the softdrinks. eesh. Keeping the air fare. We rip you off up there. That's their slogan! hehe

Think thats it .. probably more but i've forgotten most of it. . and the pics dont look too great either haha of me anyway :)

Got a whopping 3 hours sleep this morning since I would be leaving for Qld in about 2 hours, goin to the airport in about 40minutes. Figured I'd post before hand since I got nothing else better to do. Cant bluddy submit my assignment cos the dumb uni web server is down. *.usyd.edu.au is fricken Unavailable sitewide. The University of Sydney Web Server is temporarily unavailable. We regret the inconvenience. Of course they regret it. They will be regretting it if I could go there and just rip the damn webserver outta the room and take it home so I can use it myself gah.

Time to pack my bags and get ready to go.
